Wok's For Dinner: Rice Casserole

I took a picture for tonight's meal but didn't realize that my memory stick wasn't in the camera. I don't have a way to transfer the picture from my camera memory to my PC, so sorry, no pic to share with you tonight. But it definitely looked as delicious as it tasted! I made tonight's meal slightly different than the last time we had it.

Rice Casserole

Ingredients:
2 cups cooked white rice
1 cup cooked broccoli
1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese (1 cup total, not 1 cup each)
1 cup cooked turkey, shredded (you could totally use chicken or pork)

Directions:
Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Microwave about 3-5 minutes or until cheese is melted and all ingredients are heated through.

Loved it, loved it!

  1. Ditto on the above comment. If you haven't erased it from your camera yet, you should be able to transfer it to the external memory at a later time. I have done this before and I especially do it with my cell phone camera.

Also, I am wondering if winter has anything to do with how tough it has been for you to change your waking up time. Maybe because you subconsciously know the sunrise is still aways off from getting up...or maybe 5:30 just feels like night, but 6 feels like the very beginning of morning. I have no doubt you will make it eventually. Keep plugging away. Good luck. Thanks for keeping us posted. :)

  2. Yeah...I'm not so tech-savvy with my camera. There is supposed to be a way to download the pics, but I have no clue how to do it. And unfortunately, I deleted the picture. Oh well. It's definitely a yummy meal.
