Wok's For Dinner: Pizza Casserole

This is one recipe that you can play around with. With or without mushrooms/black olives. Ground beef/turkey/or in this case I used venison. Mozzarella/cheddar. Straight macaroni, bow tie pasta, penne. Simply mix or match to suit your tastes!

Pizza Casserole

Ingredients:
1lb ground beef (I used ground venison)
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 tsp salt
6oz pasta, cooked
4oz pepperoni slices
1 small can mushrooms
1 sm can sliced black olives
1-2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Brown ground beef and onion until meat is no longer pink. Drain grease. Add remaining ingredients except the cheese. Spoon mixture into a 13x9-inch baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Remove foil; sprinkle cheese on top; bake an additional 10 minutes. Serve & enjoy!

If freezing: After cooking ground beef and onion, stir in all ingredients excluding the cheese. Place in a gallon-size freezer bag and lay flat in the freezer. Thaw 36-48 hours in the refrigerator. Place in prepared baking dish and bake as directed above, sprinkling cheese on top during last 10 minutes.
