Monday--Baby Back Bash Ribs, Pork and Beans, Corn on the Cob, Green Beans
Labor Day!! Thank goodness my employer recognizes this day as a company holiday, I get a free break from work! This is also our weekly "Family Home Evening" night. We'll talk about how the scriptures are like a map, giving us directions in our every day life.
Tuesday--Beef 'N Spice, Rice, Broccoli
My son's first day of Kindergarten!!!! His particular school starts later than most. We got a scholarship, which is the only way we could afford it. Even with paying for his kindergarten and our daughter's preschool, it's still WAY cheaper than paying for just our daughter to attend day care full-time (and she'll need to go somewhere so my husband can get a job), so I'm okay with them going to Protestant Preschool & Kindergarten if it'll save us money.
Wednesday--Mexican Chicken, Black-Eyed Peas, Pears
My daughter's first day of preschool!! What a big girl she is now that she's upgraded from day care to preschool. We had to get her completely potty-trained in order to put her in preschool. She'll go 3 days a week, and 2 days at her grandma's house. Hubs has been keeping her during the day since the beginning of the year because we couldn't afford day care, and he was an unemployed self-employed business owner (if that makes any sense). But he has since dissolved the company, and with both kids in school, we're keeping our fingers crossed that he'll be able to get a job now since he won't have either of the kids during the day.
Thursday--Orange Stir-Fried Chicken, Rice, Peas, Sautee'd Cabbage
Friday--Poultry Seasoned Meatballs, Garlic Chive Mashed Potatoes, Fruit Cocktail
Saturday--Beef Stroganoff, Crescent Rolls, Green Beans, Sweet Potatoes
Sunday--Rice Casserole, Squash
