Summer Broccoli Salad

In addition to grilling up Barbecued Babyback Ribs, one of my favorite summertime dishes is a fresh Broccoli Salad. This salad is perfect for warm Summer days.

Broccoli Salad

3 heads fresh broccoli, cut into florets
1/2 pound red seedless grapes
1/8-1/4 cup sunflower kernels
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 Tbsp vinegar
2 Tbsp sugar

Toss cut-up broccoli florets into a large serving bowl. Cut grapes in half; add to broccoli. Add sunflower kernels. In a small bowl, mix oil, vinegar, and sugar until blended. Add to broccoli; toss all ingredients together until combined. Chill in refrigerator until ready to serve.
